My Most Precious Peanut

Monday your school was closed for a teacher training/work day. Because Monday's are really busy and hectic for Mommy, Daddy took the day off from work to hang out with you. One of the things that you did was come visit Mommy at work. YAY for teacher work days. You got to see everyone that I work with and everyone really enjoyed seeing you! You walked up and down the hall saying "more people Mommy?" You wanted to meet every single person that Mommy work with. It was super cute. After you met everyone at the office, you, Daddy and I went to lunch at Qdoba - another YAY for teacher work day! Sadly, Mommy had to go back to work and you and Daddy had to go back home so that you could take your nap. I wish I could hang out with you all day long! I guess you cried pretty much the entire way home because you were upset that Mommy had left you. Mommy's heart broke when she heard that! All in all it was a great day for Mommy. Here is a little photo op from lunch:

I love this little peanut so much!!!

Luckiest. Mommy. Ever.

I know I say this a lot, but Mommy is seriously the luckiest Mommy ever. You are the sweetest, kindest, most caring little girl I could ever had hoped for. You bring us so much joy. You always brighten up Mommy's world so much. Whenever she is having a bad day all she has to do is see a picture of you, think of you or come home to you screaming "Mommy's home!!!" and my worst days all of a sudden turn into the best days of my life. Thank you for being the love of my life. I never knew that I could love like this. Thank you for showing my what true, unconditional love is. I love you with all my heart.

Little Gym Adventures

You absolutely love Little Gym. Plain and simple. You love going and playing with Mr. Nick. And Mommy and Daddy love the interaction you have with him. You run to him to give him your very best hugs. We recently moved you up to the older class and it is SO much better for you. Its a smaller class with only about 7 kids in it. The other one had almost 15 kids in it and you sort of got lost in the shuffle. In this class you really shine and are back in the spotlight where you belong!

Your most favorite thing to do right now is jumping. You jump on your bed, on mommy and daddy's bed, on the guest bed when daddy is playing his Xbox; you name it and you will jump. One of the things that is available to you at Little Gym is the air mattress where, you guessed it, you can jump on!

Next up was the beam, which you really love as well. Except this week's lesson was to walk on it backwards which you haven't yet done. And of course you were excellent at. :)

You then played around with Daddy for a bit, on, surprise surprise, the jumpy thing!

You often will be the star example with Mr. Nick as he is explaining the skills of the week and this week was no exception. You love the monkey bars as you are a little monkey yourself!

Two Words: ROCK WALL

This next video is pretty funny. Emma wanted to do the beam all by herself but at the same time she didn't want Daddy's help what so ever. It's kind of hard to hear her but she keeps saying "Go Away." She is in this stage right now where she only wants a certain parent to do things for her and if the other parent is in the room, she will yell, "go away!"

And last but not least, one last star pupil - she really is a shining star, isn't she? :)

Potty Training Take 1

About a month ago, we, along with your teacher, Ms. Kelsea decided that it was time to start potty training you. Mommy went out and bought you a more little girl sized potty seat that fits right over "mommy and daddy's potty" so that it was a little less scary for you. You at first loved going to the potty and sitting on it. We would sing songs, read books, play little games. That last only a couple of days. We had also decided to take you off pull ups cold turkey and put you in big girl underpants, thinking that would speed up your potty training. We tried that for about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks with no luck. You knew when you had gone and would tell us right away, after the fact, you were having a really hard time with the "urge" part right before. After many, many accidents and many, many upset visits to the potty, we have decided to put a hold on potty training. You just aren't ready for it yet and that is perfectly ok with Mommy and Daddy. The last thing we want to do is make you upset and you will have the rest of your life to go pee pee on the big girl potty - so we are leaving it up to you! You will let us know when you are ready and when that day comes we will throw you the biggest potty party ever!

You did, however, look oh so cute on your new potty that we picked up for you!

Snow, Snow GO AWAY!!

The past 2 weeks have been really awful in terms of the weather. Last week we were all held captive for 4 days in the house due to the snow and ice that hit us. It was pretty bad. But, of course, you being such the great little girl that you are, you took it all in stride and were the very best little girl that a Mommy could ask for. Mommy still had to work so you played with your computer, next to Mommy, played with your games and watched Curious George (your new favorite show at the moment) while I worked. We were finally able to get out on Saturday, just in time for Little Gym. Which you really needed! Here are some pics of the snow. You can barely recognize our front yard!

Look at it comin' down

Just a little video of the snow that fell
