Happy Easter!

Ok - so Mommy is a little late posting this, oh well!

This was the first year that you really "got" what you were supposed to do for Easter. You still didn't reallly understand it but you caught on quickly to the basics. Find eggs, open them and play/eat anything that was inside.

We started the morning with your egg hunt. The Easter Bunny knew that we were going over to Chris and Cindy's for Easter breakfast, so he made sure that he hid the eggs outside in the front, starting from our house all the way down to Chris and Cindy's and inside too.

 I see another one Mommy!

Your Easter Basket - look at all the goodies! You now wear thos flip flops every single day. You won't let Mommy or Daddy put on any other pair.

Waiting to eat breakfast. What a well mannered little girl you are!

Num-num, bacon!

You are such a little flirt

After breakfast, we all hung out for a little bit while you played with your new toys. Went home so that you could take a nap and then Auntie V, Uncle Doug, Michelle, Katherine and Matthew came over for yummy Easter Dinner!

My Daughter's Greenish-Blue Hands

What's that you say? You have a daughter who has greenish blue hands? How can that be?

Is it some rare disease?

Is your husband the Incredible Hulk?

No. It's Easter Egg Dying Time!

This was the first year that you were able to actually participate in the egg dying process and you loved every single minute of it. You weren't too concerned about keeping your hands clean or being delicate, you just plopped those eggs in and two seconds later you wanted to take them out and put more in. It was all I could do to keep you from getting the dye everywhere!  But, I wouldn't change this night for anything. You had a blast and that is what nights like this is for.

Yea for Dancing and Princesses!

In the beginning of April (yes, Mommy is a little behind - I'm still catching up) we were invited to go to our very first Disney on Ice performance. We were invited by your Little Gym BFF Abby and her Mommy. Abby's mommy had free tickets so we thought, why not! This year's theme was Toy Story 3. You have not seen 1 or 2 at this point, but Mommy still thought you would enjoy the experience of going and hanging out with Abby. Boy was I right! You were in AWE of everything. Every time Buzz or Woody would skate around you would scream "Dancing Mommy Dancing!! And when Barbie would appear, you would shout "PRINCESS!!!" (You haven't quite figured out the difference between real Disney Princesses and Barbie yet, so we just go with it.)

You loved the ice version of Toy Story so much that Mommy and Daddy had to go buy it and now that is your absolute favorite movie to watch. Every chance you get you ask "Emma watch Buzz and Woody's?" You are at the point now that you know when something funny is happening and you just laugh and laugh - it's super cute.

Totally intrigued
