Happy Halloween!

Well, a couple of days early. We have started off the festivities with a party at school which includes pumpkin carving and lots of junk food and candy! Oh joy. Mommy can't wait to get home tonight and find one little girl hyped up on sugar. :)

I picked up this cute green jacket for Em a couple of months ago - it is now cool enough for her to wear it. And of course, I couldn't resist taking a picture of her.

Emma and Elmo say HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! (more pictures to follow...)

Weekend Wrap-up

It has been forever since I've posted, it's been a long couple of weeks. At least it seems like its been weeks.

On Sunday, October 17, 2010, we found out that my Grandmother passed away after many many years of living and struggling with Alzheimer's. She was 95. Not only was she the best Grandmother a girl could ask for, she also shares a birthday with Emma, making her that much more special. This past weekend was the interment and family gathering to celebrate her life and her spirit. I flew back to Cali for that while John and Emma stayed back in Texas. It was really hard for me to leave them and to be away from them for so long but we managed to get through it. This is how I will forever remember the greatest Grandparents on earth - laughing and smiling and loving life. Thank you for enriching my life. I love you.

..............................................................

With Mommy being gone through Saturday night, that only left us Sunday to hang as a family. And what a busy Sunday it was! In the morning we had a 3rd birthday party to attend. It was at a place called Amazing Jakes and boy did you love all the games! You rode the little train and played a little bowling. Which you LOVED! And by bowling I mean just chocking the ball and where ever it landed is where it was going to land. At one point, you went chasing the ball down the lane. Funniest thing ever.

You also loved the driving games; we are in big trouble when you hit 16!

Of course, you found something to swing on; you always find something to swing on!

And one last picture of you just being ever so cute.

We then headed home so that you could take a quick little nap before we headed out to the Pumpkin Patch with Katherine, Matthew, Auntie Veronica and Uncle Doug. Which you had a blast at! Then again, you always have a blast with your Cousins.

You spent the entire afternoon running from one place to the next. Kept Mommy and Daddy on our toes!

Picking the perfect pumpkin...

This one looks good...

Here Daddy, can you carry this for me?
